Overview
Our research involves assessing a variety of aspects of speech sound production. Most of the research addresses speech sound misarticulations in children with speech sound disorders, including childhood apraxia of speech.
We are currently are recruiting:
- in some metro areas for an in-person study (currently: Buffalo, NY; Syracuse, NY)
- children ages 9 – 17 with articulation errors on the “r” and/or “s” sounds
- Nationwide recruiting (study completed via telepractice)
- children ages 8-17 with typically developing speech
- children ages 8-17 with /s/ misarticulations
- children 9-17 who are capable of producing some correct “r”
