Overview
Our research involves assessing a variety of aspects of speech sound production. Most of the research addresses speech sound misarticulations in children with speech sound disorders, including childhood apraxia of speech.
We are currently recruiting:
- In Central NY (Syracuse area)
- Two studies for children ages 9 – 17 with articulation errors on the “r” sound. Click here for a side-by-side comparison of the two available studies
- Children ages 9 – 17 with articulation errors on the “r” and/or “s” sounds (Available in Buffalo, Syracuse, Utica areas)
- Virtual Studies
- children ages 8-17 with typically developing speech (virtual)
- children ages 8-17 with /s/ misarticulations (virtual)
- children ages 7-11 years with /s/ misarticulations (virtual, offers treatment)
- children 9-17 who are capable of producing some correct “r” (virtual, offers treatment)
